Andy Burnett, CCIM, serves as the principal of Burnett Equity, Redwood Capital, and as an advisor at Robinson Park. Over the past twenty years, he has transacted more than $5.5 billion in commercial real estate.

Burnett Equity owns and invests in a diverse portfolio of private companies spanning insurance, solar, oil and gas, technology startups, and banking.

His redevelopment work includes projects nationwide across multiple asset types, including hotels, office towers, apartment communities, industrial warehouses, restaurants, condominium developments, and shopping centers.

Burnett’s development experience includes corporate headquarters and projects for Global Payments, Starbucks, Domino’s, Hilton Curio, Marriott Aloft, Westin, Marriott Suites, DoubleTree, Tapstone Energy, Good Egg Dining, The Daily Oklahoman, YMCA, Oklahoma Oncology Hospitals, U.S. Oncology, and numerous others across the country.

In 2021, Andy and his partners began acquiring distressed hotel assets resulting from the pandemic. To date, they have acquired nine hotels in markets including New York City, Chicago, Charlotte, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City.

Mr. Burnett has structured public-private partnership transactions with national and local entities, including HUD, Brownfields programs, DEQ/ODEQ, the Department of Commerce, COTPA, and OCURA. He has extensive experience utilizing historic tax credits, New Markets Tax Credits, conservation easements, NSP funds, CDBG funds, and HUD 221(d)(4) financing to enhance project feasibility and returns.

Burnett has served as Chairman of the Board for both City Care and the Bricktown Association. He currently serves on the Arts Council board, along with several other civic and community organizations.

Above all, Andy’s greatest passion is his faith, his wife, and their three children.
